the other shoe...

The plan was NYC and the offer was a free apartment for six months starting in April...it all seemed too good to be true, but just the same I sat and kept a quiet vigil for the inevitable "other shoe."

On Saturday it dropped.

The apartment is still there, my invitation has been pushed back 2 months, maybe longer. Reading between the lines the answer is, it's gone.

But for those two months, it was a great idea. What now, what next? That battle is being fought in my head as I type....so I guess stay tuned....
