do something that matters

some might say it was because of the hurricane but for me it was many more things...a job i'm not enjoying, and the fact that the show i currently work for is going to fictionalize a hurricane and sell the ad time after what just happened...not to mention the dinner i had the other night listening to the creator explain away why he thought that was ok...

..no i saw a fantastaic movie tonight about africa and the corruption that surrounds the business of trying to help people in this world. mix that with my new found desire to move to new york and i now find myself sitting up searching for jobs in the NGO field, specifically in NYC.

What made me stop and write this entry was to say how much i enjoy going to a webpage and filling out an info form, and when you come to the drop down box for "country" - how much i enjoy the pages that don't list the US first and then the rest of the countries in alpha order. that's all...
